New Appointment at MPAC!
Mr Abdul-Warith Solanke Becomes MPAC’s Director of Media and Strategic Communications.

Due to ongoing transformation and repositioning exercise at MPAC, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Abdul-Warith Solanke as MPAC’s Director of Media and Strategic Communications.
Mr Solanke is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Diplomacy and Management, a 2007/2008 Commonwealth Broadcasting Association Scholar with which he bagged a Master of Public Policy from the University of Brunei, Darussalam having earlier graduated from UNILAG with BSc in Mass Communication in 1988. Presently, he is the Deputy Director and Head of Strategic Planning at Voice of Nigeria, Lagos.
He has a distinguished journalism career of three decades in a string of newspapers and broadcasting stations where he was a state correspondent, political correspondent, research officer, leader writer, assistant foreign editor, news producer, editorial board member and head of training. He has participated and presented papers at international workshops and conferences within the Asia Pacific Region.
Mr Solanke in sha Allah will lead a team of other professionals to champion MPAC’s Voice, Identity and Participation (VIP) strategy and engage in pragmatic approaches to craft and implement the overall Muslim media strategic vision for MPAC.
