It’s 6 days to the blessed month of Ramadan. 🌙
Forgiveness is a powerful way to prepare the heart for Ramadan. Holding grudges, resentment, or anger can block spiritual growth and prevent us from fully experiencing Allah’s mercy. By forgiving others, even silently, we open the door to inner peace and mercy from Allah.
Allah says:
وَلْيَعْفُوا وَلْيَصْفَحُوا ۗ أَلَا تُحِبُّونَ أَن يَغْفِرَ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ
“Let them pardon and overlook. Would you not like that Allah should forgive you?”
— Surah An-Nur 24:22
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Charity does not decrease wealth, and Allah increases a servant in honor when he forgives.”
— Sahih Muslim 2588
