As we make beneficial progress in this blessed month of Ramadan, I extend warm greetings and blessings to you and your loved ones. This sacred month presents an opportunity for spiritual rejuvenation, self-reflection, and increased devotion to Allah (SWT).
As Executive Chairman of the Muslim Public Affairs Centre (MPAC), I am compelled to remind you of the immense importance of Zakat and charitable giving during this blessed month. As a frontline Muslim advocacy organization in Nigeria, MPAC has been a powerful voice in advocating for Muslim rights and interests. This is one of the major works we do throughout the year.
In an environment where Islamophobia and religious intolerance are on the rise, MPAC’s work is more crucial than ever. We are the vanguard of Muslim interests, working tirelessly to protect and promote our rights. Our efforts are multifaceted, and our impact is felt across the nation, even beyond.
This Ramadan, we call upon you to support MPAC with your Zakat and Sadaqat. Your generosity will enable us to continue and expand our vital works. As Allah (SWT) reminds us in the Quran:
“Those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah and do not follow up their spending by reminding others of their generosity or causing harm, their reward is with their Lord.” (Quran 2:262)
The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) emphasized the importance of charitable giving, saying:
“The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.” (Hadith, Tirmidhi)
Your Zakat and donations will provide MPAC with the necessary resources to:
