The Muslim Public Affairs Centre (MPAC), Nigeria, wishes to inform the general public that we have been alerted to a fraudulent scheme currently being perpetrated by scammers using the MPAC Sadakat Account number 0003670628 (or any of our bank accounts) under false pretenses.
The scammers are reportedly promoting fake online giveaways or adverts – particularly on Facebook -requiring unsuspecting individuals to pay a ₦500 “qualification fee” into the said account. This is a scam designed to compromise victims’ devices and banking details through malicious links, resulting in significant financial losses, including unauthorized transfers.
MPAC categorically disassociates itself from ANY such promotional activities or campaigns requiring ₦500 payments, qualification fees, or financial information via ANY platforms.
We affirm that:
– MPAC does not solicit funds via social media promotions or third-party advertisements.
– We do not operate any incentive-based or giveaway schemes requiring token payments.
– Our official donations are only accepted via secure, verified channels as stated on our official website and communications.
We are working with the relevant authorities and our banking partners to investigate and shut down any fraudulent activity involving our name or account.
What You Should Do:
– Do not engage with any suspicious adverts claiming affiliation with MPAC or using any of our bank account details.
– Do not make payments into the MPAC Sadakat account based on random Facebook promos or WhatsApp forwards.
– Verify all payment instructions through our official website or contact us directly before proceeding.
– Report any such fraudulent ads or pages impersonating MPAC to Facebook and appropriate security agencies.
For Inquiries or Clarification:

We urge everyone to exercise caution and help us share this message widely to prevent others from falling victim.
